A driver who rear-ended another vehicle in Mayville was charged with driving while intoxicated.
Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies said that when they responded to the accident on West Chautauqua Street in the village they found Jackson W. Nolloth, 28, of Hannum Road in Mayville, intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 percent, and cited with following too closely and driving an uninspected motor vehicle. He was ticketed to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court.
Deputies said Nolloth rear-ended another auto as it slowed to pull into a driveway at around 5:30 a.m. Friday.
